Together, we celebrate the best of the South within a curated platform for the most skilled and accomplished Makers in their respective trades where they can connect with one another, while attracting adventurers from all over the country to experience a cross section of Alabama s finest. If you are curious and enjoy southern culture, this is the event for you. Rich with history in textiles, agriculture, food, literature, architecture, art and design, Southern Makers is a hands-on educational 2-day event where visitors can learn, participate, converse and purchase from the Makers themselves. Through panel discussions, artist talks, interactive workshops and a market bazaar, the event brings home-grown to life, going a step beyond American-made to Southern-made. From Chefs to Fashion Designers and Farmers to Woodworkers, Southern Makers represent top talent working throughout the Southeast today. Come on out y all!
